1 week remaining on 50% off postcard promotion!

There is no doubt about it...photographers love to see their images on postcards.  Last Thursday we launched our second postcard promotion, and it appears their popularity continues to grow.  I checked in with the folks working in the NexPress area to see if they had any interesting tidbits regarding the promotion.  Here's what they had to say:
- The most popular size is 5x7"
- Weddings have been the most popular category for postcards this past week.
- Other popular uses include studio self promotion, advertising and birthdays.
- Many customers are using our premium papers - pearlescent and linen.
- Most customers order envelopes with their order.

- Lastly, they report that all orders in by noon are out the same day!

The promotion ends next Thursday, July 19th.  Take advantage of the great pricing, and if possible, try one of the 2 premium papers.  You will love the quality!

I've tried a couple of times to make a postcard with Mpix, and have never been successful.  My web browser is AOL.  Is that what is causing my problems with this?  Has anyone else experienced difficulties, and if so how did you solve the problem(s)?

Thanks.

You may have problems uploading the card if your browser is embedded in AOL.  In other words, connect to AOL but minimize that window and use the Internet Explorer that’s on the desktop or on the Start Menu.

If this does not take care of the issue, please email customer service at customerservice@mpix.com.  They will work with you to troubleshoot the issue very quickly.

I made one design to be printed on the cards, one on the stock card with gloss and the other on the pearl card. With out a doubt the stock and glossy combination is the best. The pearl card was very flat with the pearl texture not very appealing for photographs. I cant see how I would ever use the pearl stock again, but I would consider using the stock card with glossy.

I have read where the linen is much too heavy and distracts from the photos as well. Conclusion is to try a sample of each of the 3 cards available.

I ordered "save the date" cards from this promotion...I used the pearl for the first time and loved it.  The photo on the card was small on the smaller size card.  I will use the pearl again, I think it added an elegance to the card that a gloss stock card wouldn't have.

I agree w/ the other entry that lthis linen is too heavy for photos.  I ordered business cards in the linen and didn't care for it at all.  Probably will stay away from linen.

I have used the glossy stock cards for birth announcements - loved it ...and for business cards - perfect.
