Last Day at PhotoPlus

We have been having a great time at the PhotoPlus Expo in New York the last few days.  But, like all good things, this too must come to an end.  At four o'clock today, we will be packing things up and heading back to the Midwest.  It has been great to meet so many of you who are here and to meet a number of people who are interested in becoming customers.  Thanks to everyone who stopped by the last couple of days!  And if you are in town today, then please come on by before we head out!

Here is a pic of the team that came.  From left to right: John Rank, Samae Claspill, Jamie Stephens, Barry Coleman, Tonya Propps, and Joe Dellasega.

Here is Rick Sammon during one of his seminars at our booth:

We were also honored to have Carey Schumacher and Rosanne Penella conduct some workshops for us here as well.

Hi All

About 3 years ago, Sargent Marc Pucinsky, who was based in Baghdad, wrote me an email asking about the Canon Digital Rebel. I answered his note and sent him one of my books, saying that I thought he and his buddies were real heroes.

Well, Marc tracked me down at the recent photo show in NY in October at the Mpix booth..where I was speaking. He presented me with a flag that he and his buddies flew for me – for my support of the troops – in Baghdad. He also presented me with a certificate of authenticity.

What an emotional moment! What an honor!

Marc’s wife, Yolanda, took this shot.

How cool!

Thanks Marc – and please thank your buddies.

Rick

P.S. The photo is on my Ask Rick? Forum here at Mpix.

I don't know if I have ever seen Rick speechless.  I was fortunate to be standing near Rick when Marc gave Rick the flag.  It was a moment to remember.  Thanks Marc from the Mpix team.
