• Valentine's Day Templates

  With February 14th right around corner, we thought you might enjoy having some templates to make the extra special card.  Here are three designs to get you started, courtesy of our wonderful designer, Samae.  These templates are Photoshop files and were created with a  5" x 7" aspect ratio.  They just need your photos to finish them off.  These are great for making cards from prints or for getting you started on a press postcard or folded greeting card.  Enjoy! • Mpix and Macworld: So happy together

  It's hard to know what to talk about first with this year's Macworld.  From the announcement of the Macbook Air to all the incredible gadgets and software from other companies, it's easy to just walk around in a daze through the labyrinth of booths.  Even after three days of Macworld, things have not slowed down at all.  We have been overwhelmed by everyone's positive response to our products, especially the metallic paper and press products.  Many of the people we have talked with have made books through other services and are blown away by the quality of the papers and colors that we can produce in ours.  We have also talked with numerous people who became customers after seeing us at last year's Macworld.  It is nice to see them returning and to talk with all of our other customers who have stopped by.  It has also been nice to talk with some employees of some of our competitors who tell us that they are using our products over their own because they know they can rely on the consistent quality and fast service (don't worry, we won't tell your boss...even if he is the one who gave the keynote at this conference). • 50% Off Postcard Promotion

• Software Update for MpixPRESS

  Take advantage of the improvements to MpixPRESS software!  An update was released in mid December and we are receiving very positive feedback.  If you don't have the new version, download it today and begin seeing the improvements for yourself.  Remember there are two separate software applications: one for books and the second for cards and calendars.  Improvements for the Book Software:  - 100% Vista and Mac Intel compatibility. - A new 'safe area' is displayed when working with images and text layers.  This allows you to see exactly what will be printed.  See example below. - New cut, copy and paste functionality has been added to allow you to move items between pages. - You can now easily switch between book types and sizes.  - Improved text editing. - Enhanced memory management, and several other small fixes.   Improvements for the Cards and Calendar Software: - 100% Vista and Mac Intel compatibility. - A new 'safe area'.  See example below. - Improvements in scaling and image handling. - Numerous small fixes that enhance the user experience.  How are you sure you have the latest version?  It's simple. 1. Check for new version. 2. Uninstall current software.  Be sure to take the time to do this. 3. • Thank you for a great year!

  Thank you from all of us at Mpix for a successful 2007!  You have captured millions of unbelievable images, and we appreciate that you entrusted us to do your printing. We are approaching 300,000 customers, and sales continue to grow at a remarkable rate.  The majority of our growth comes from photographers like you telling a friend or associate about us.  We will continue to focus on quality and turnaround, and hope that you continue to spread the Mpix message.  There is no better recommendation than one that comes from a fellow photographer. There are the typical New Year's resolutions about weight loss, time with family and improving relationships.  How about resolutions about your photography?  These might include attending more workshops, taking the initiative to compose more photo books, or making prints from those digital files.  Do you have any resolutions?  We would love to hear them!
