Enhance your presentation with our new Boutique Packaging!

Many of you have been looking for ways to enhance your presentation.  With Boutique Packaging elegance is just a click away, and for just $5.00 you can make every impression priceless.

A shipping option added with Mpix 2.0 was Drop-Shipping with 'white label packaging'.  This free service allows you to drop ship an order directly to a customer or friend at no additional charge.  The shipment will have no reference to Mpix on the package or in the packing materials.  By combining Boutique Packaging and Drop-Shipping, you will be saving valuable time and money, and make an impressive presentation.

Here are the details on our Boutique Packaging:

Ordering Instructions: If your order is eligible for the special packaging, a box will appear on the Order Options page.  Simply click 'Add Boutique Packaging' and continue checking out.

We have already received some awesome feedback on our new Boutique Packaging.  Tell us what you think.  We would love to hear from you.

I forgot to ask:  Can I get press printed cards shipped in these snazzy boxes?  If I do, will the folded cards be folded for me?  (never hurts to ask, right!?)

I'm about to order, can't wait to see it!

My only concern is that I sometimes order several different orders for clients and would love to have the packaging for each, but I read that it will all be packaged together and can't be with an order over 11x14.  So this will make me have to make several different orders.  It would be really great if you could have the different albums packaged together and shipped as one order.

Oh my God... You guys are awesome... Whenever I have something on my

mind it always seems like you mysteriously come through with what

I'm in need of...

I love, love, love your boutique shipping...

I've been looking for a  way to do this for some time... I was going to have all orders shipped to me, then repackage, reship for a nicer presentation. Now

PRESTO "boutique shipping"... You guys just made my whole life

simpler...

So explain a little more... Can I get any samples sent to me??? Will

the boutique envelope or box be inside a white drop ship box???

Keep up the fantastic job!!!

Yes, this is a really cool feature. The Boutique Packaging can be shipped inside a white private label 'drop ship' box.

This is a really nice add on..

Is the ribbon you guys put around the envelope and box loose enough so that it can be slid off and then put back on? Is anything sealed with stickers or etc?

I have stickers I put on the back of every print and product we deliver to customers. I would need to open the boutique packaging and then repack it after I check for quality and put the stickers on. Would this be possible without damaging any of the envelopes or boxes?

Will this option be available for Zenfolio orders as well?  If so, PERFECT.  In any case, a beautiful upgrade for a great price.  Thanks for being awesome!

Sorry, ROES does not support these cool new options. Hopefully, they will allow it in the future. I wish we had more control over ROES...sorry

Darn, the way I order I really need the ROES system.  Its just a lot simpler with my multi client orders.  Is there a way we can order the boxes/envelopes so that the ROES customers can still take advantage of this wonderful service?

Thanks,

I really wish there was someway to make this work for ROES users. The ROES system is simply not setup to allow these types of products. Sorry...

I do business with both Mpix and Millers.

I love the packaging, but the only criticism I have is it is the same used by your other company, Millers.  I would just prefer they look different is all.

I feel that if the professional side should be 1 step above the mpix side.

You would make me much happier if you just changed it up a little bit (same but different) so that they arent identical.

please consider a different color or style.

am I alone on this one?  maybe so....maybe it doesnt matter if I am or not, lol.

I was thinking the same as Aaron, is this possible? I feel like Mpix and Miller's products line of differences is getting thinner and thinner. I definately aprreciate solid seperation between the professional side and the consumer side.

This is sweet!  Mpix ROCKS!!

I use both Miller's and Mpix as well. Using the same color box doesn't bother me at all. I'm sure stocking two different types of packaging would be a nightmare. We are really lucky to have this option. Most pro labs don't want to mess with this.

THANKS MPIX!

Awesome!  Will it be possible in the future to select what type of 'boutique packaging' is available?  I'd like to order 50+ 4x6s and would prefer that they be in a presentation box rather than an envelope, but so far I haven't seen anything to indicate whether they would be shipped in a box or an envelope...just that the order would be shipped in one or the other....

October 5, 2008 3:58 PM

The Mpix Guys said:

Our workflow simply will not allow this, but I checked with packaging and 50+ 4x6's are typically placed within a box due to their size. It all depends on the thickness of the order.

Thanks,

John

Got my order and I love the packaging but...... I just wish that I could have the different albums I create be packaged as one instead of my whole order.  Like if Mom and 2 grandma's want to order, I would be able to create an album for each with their order and have each one's order packaged up.

But since it's my whole order that gets packaged, in order to get packaging for 3 clients, I have to place 3 separate orders and this costs me more $ in shipping. Also in time considering I have to enter 3 separate orders and enter my credit card info 3 times.

Honestly I think the packaging is great, but it's not something that I will use if I am ordering for more than one person.

Here's a heads up if you were eying that 4x6 proof box in the sample photo; I ordered 400 4x6s, and they came in an 8x10 box with a bunch of packing foam.

I have not seen the "boutique packaging" option appear as I checked out for most of my recent orders, even when smaller than 11x14.

I ALWAYS select it when it does appear, and have always used FedEx overnight for my shipping option. I use Win Vista, and have unchecked the "Protected mode " box.

Any suggestions?

I DO see the "back printing with copyright symbol" selection which was introduced later, as I recall.

Thanks for making us look good!

I do not care that Millers uses the same packaging at all.

After all, you use the same machines and paper to print for us with both services.
