Just got a standout the other day and wet to hang it finally yesterday and the lower right hand corner of the photo is peeling off the base. I sent in a support ticket, does this happen often? First time in 4 for me but has me worried the others may develop this....

Hi!
Just got a standout the other day and wet to hang it finally yesterday and the lower right hand corner of the photo is peeling off the base. I sent in a support ticket, does this happen often? First time in 4 for me but has me worried the others may develop this....

I don't know how often it happens, but a standout is not an archival method of displaying a print.
The environment where the piece is hung will have a lot to do with how long it lasts.

Understood, dont really expect them to last forever. On the other hand, I certainly don't want them to peel either so soon. This is something that should last several years if kept in the right spot. I aasume this is probably not something that happens all that frequently....

Some of the first ones I ordered for myself after they came out a couple years ago are peeling, but none of my newer ones.

Support already wrote back to me and is sending me another one....awesome service! I sent them a pic of the one I got that was damaged and they said absolutely no problem we will print another and have it to you ASAP. Been using MPIX for a several yrs for most stuff just not too many of the above item...great company!!!
