Mpix friends, I need your help!
We found a set of negatives my Grandmother had dated 1935, and she doesn't recall every seeing the actual photos, so we doubt they have been developed (although they are in an old drugstore envelope.) We would LOVE to have them developed, if it is still possible...? They are so fragile, and the negatives seem to be in good shape, but I need help on where to send them, who to trust, or can this even be done? Thanks so much!

If you have negatives, the film has already been developed. You just need to have prints made from the negatives. There are 2 ways to have this done. You can have them scanned and then make prints from the files, or have someone make optical prints from the negatives. Several labs scan film and there are a few left that print the "old" way, optical prints (my preference). Or, you can buy an enlarger and some chemicals and paper and print them yourself. :)

You might try the local art school to see if they can or will print them for you.

I just got some developed from roughly the late forties. www.rapidphoto.net. Emulsion was not perfect and film paper wrapper was turning to dust then I unspooled it, but they pulled five interpretable prints out of 6 likely exposures. Hats off to them.
