    HELP!Cropping & Printing to a correct size

OMG! I am totally stressed. I have been trying to print certain photos for a customer for several days now, and can't get the image size I want without it being cropped too much.  I have done everything I have read to do in photoshop about cropping the images. The prints I want are 8x10 and 11x14.  What do I need to do? Just print an 8x12 for the 8x10 & be done w/ it?  Also, the  11x14 says I do not meet minimium resolution for printing, & it is also cropped to much for printing. How do I change this in photoshop elements 6.0?  I have got to get these prints are this weekend. I would greatly appreciate any advice.

    thanks

Can you post your images so we can see what you are talking about?  It might be easier for us to understand. Also, if you are having this much trouble why don't you upload without cropping the image when you go to your cart for check out you can do your 8x10 or 11x 14 cropping there. You may be doing your cropping wrong in photoshop.

I hope you got it figured out in time.

I know it's a bit late in the game but 8x10 and 11x14 are different aspect ratios.

That means the relationship of the long side to the short side of the sizes is different.

The long side of an 8x10 is 1.25 times the short side.

The long side of an 11x14 is 1.273 times the short side.

Mpix's minimum resolution is 100 ppi so the 11x14 has to be at least 1100x1400 pixels.
