    two Absolute martinis into it....

     Happy 4th everyone!

I have to say, I am sick and tired of people not valuing what they do!  I was reading Tim brown's article in the Harvard business review ( june 2008)  and I once again have to say,  Value your work!

    Value your work because:

    1. you will never see a " best words of 2009"
Photos! people....they want photos because they sell issues!

2.You can never shoot the exact same photo.  ever...that means the time you shot cannot be duplicated.

    3. Your photos will outlive you.  if you are 30 yrs old now you photos will live 100 years ++ !!!!
At a $1.00 a day your photos are DIRT CHEAP!

    Stop giving it away!

have a great  4th of July!

Or, they value good looks. They say photos don't lie. Back in the day when I did promotions (you know, stand there, smiling and looking purty), I was sometimes asked to send a snapshot for consideration. They wanted to be sure of what I "really" looked like. There, it wasn't about good photography, just a real capture. Just sayin'...
