    can anyone help?

Ok gang! Here is the question. I normally do outdoor photography so I do not use backdrops. However I am do an indoor Valentine's Day Session. I would like to know How big the backdrop should be. I want to do a few of the all white backgrounds with the reflective floor. Can I just get the clear 4x4 sheet of ?? and put a white sheet under it? I am not real sure what to use on the floor to do this type of thing. I have two umbrella's with lights and I have a canon 430 ex on my 30d. Any help would be appreciated! I will be doing at most in one sitting is 1 adult and 3 kids. How far from the backdrop to they need to be placed to eliminate shadows on the high key pictures? Thanks so much in advance! Erin

I'd say put your subjects at least 6 or 7 feet away from the backround... and to have an even, pure white background you will have to put up some lights that are aimed at only the bg.

    Keep shooting!

For the reflection you can use a peice of plexiglass the hardware store. And yes, if you want real white, they had to be far away and you have light put a lot of light right onto the background. If they are to close, the light will reflect from the background and they get a bright rim light (which can also look cool, but I don't think that is what you are going for).
