My wife has been bugging me to buy some Easter Marshmallow Peeps for her to take pictures of... chicks, bunnies, yellow, pink, etc.  Anyone interested in getting a thread going of creative Peep shots?  Not a contest, just thought that it may be fun.  Since apparently we're going to have a bunch of them around the house anyway...

How about it???  I'm off to the store to buy Peeps... 

I am SOOO in!!  It will probably be this weekend before I can do it, but I will be here!  I love peeps!

Are shots of what happens when you microwave Peeps allowed?

Well, I have been working hard to get ready for our class tomorrow... but my wife found some time to play with here peeps.  These were taken on the kitchen table with a lamp and on camera flash - so we're not looking for technical proficiency...  But, they made me smile! 

 I'm guessing that they'll be bunny peeps to come...

This'll be fun! 

I hate peeps - but my husband loves them so if they are worth eating by the time I get through with them, then he will be happy!

I'll go to the store tomorrow...

Bing, I know just what would cheer you up!  Break out the marshmallow peeps.  You can abuse them in ways that you never could a real client.  ;o) 

OK, you are going to think *I* have lost it, but would anyone sell/give me some pictures of Peeps if you are taking the shots anyway?  It's for a good cause.

My 6 year old daughter is severely mentally ill and we are moving across the state in June.  I asked how she wanted her new room decorated, and she said "Peeps!"  I thought, how in the heck can I decorate a room in a "Peeps theme?"  I was thinking some Peeps-like colors, but if I could frame a few beautiful pictures of Peeps, or make a Peeps collage for her room, that would just make her day.  She is just obsessed with these little things, and has been for quite a long time. 

BTW, she has bipolar I disorder, severe, with psychotic elements (she hallucinates), severe obsessive compulsive disorder and emerging schizophrenia.  Anything to make her life a little brighter is my daily goal.  She is the little cutie in my avatar.

I am positive that we can help you out!  Let me run it by my wife... I'm pretty sure she didn't save the hi-res files after processing.  Who would have thought there'd ever be a need?!  But, we can redo the processing without much trouble.  These were actually just quick and dirty anyway! 

If you really like these and want them, just drop me a PM.  If you'd rather see what else comes up, I won't have my feelings hurt.  

And, sell them???  For a cause like this it's out of the question!  And anyone that tries to charge you will be banned from the peep thread forever!  I'd send you the files - you'll just have to promise to print them through MPIX (for color accuracy), and not do any weird processing to them... 

I'll be busy tomorrow, so I may be slow getting back to anyone that writes...

Who can blame her?  I would have my room coated in sugar too if my husband would let me!  If I get any shots, I'll send them your way.  I think this is going to turn into a pretty popular game so I doubt you'll have and trouble finding something to cover the walls!  Now, I'm not very crafty at all, but have you thought about trying that shellack (see, I can't even spell the stuff) that they use in restaurants to display food and coat some real peeps to decorate the room.  Maybe a peeps chair rail or something.

So, I never, ever in my life seen peeps. And on top of that it's food.
