  You are correct.  Peeps are listed on istock.  However, we're not selling the photos so I don't think there is an issue in this case.  Of course, I could be wrong!  Thanks for the heads up.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe that photographing Peeps breaks their copyright laws.... after all, we're not making sugar-coated marshmallow figures. I'm thinking that as long as we're not trying to sell the images of the Peeps, we're not in violation.... *shrug* I don't know.

I agree.  People here are just photographing a product, not trying to sell the photos, or "publish" the photos.  You can take a picture of pretty much anything you would like!  It's what you *do* with that picture that could break copyright laws.  Big difference.

I told you I'd get around to shooting some "real" peeps. :-)

Can I add two more Peeps?  This thread has been a wonderful introduction to the talent on this board :)  I thank you for the laughs, and my little kids thank you for convincing me to bring Peeps into the house.
