    photo finish

    Hi Y'all!

I'm new to this forum, and have read through most of the posts that are on here. Whew, it's take me all afternoon. :)

My question is: Is there some sort of finish we can have on our photos that make it where people can't scan them and have prints made? I recently had someone say, "We can scan these and have more prints made."

I want control over the way my images look and the way they're printed. Besides the fact they are violating copyright laws.

    Thanks!

Yes ma'am there is, but MPIX doesn't carry it. Millers does it, a place called ProLab does it, and somewhere else, but I can't remember.

    Here's an example.

You can have a texture put on them if you order them through Millers (parent company of Mpix so I am not sending you to a competitor), but even a texture won't stop them from trying to scan.  If they scan or copy the textured prints, they just won't print very well.  Some people are ok with that, so just know that there isn't ANYTHING that will prevent people from scanning and reprinting if they really want to.
