Ok I Got my Puffer today...and I just love it...has anyone else bought one? and do you like it?...i'm thinking this will be great to use with the grandkids...not sure I would use it for like my Photo shoots..

this is with it on...I counted 40 something cameras that it works with and it says much more..it fits on the shoe where the flash goes,,,I used it on my 30D cannon

Is it better than the lightsphere?  It looks much more convenient.

It is for pop up flashes, so it looks like it would not be of much use for those who have an attachable flash... but might be great for those with pop-ups.  It only works with a limited number of cameras from what I read.

Bing, thanks for the explanation... I figured it was something like the whaletail or the dome, but wasn't sure. He certainly has some funky names, doesn't he?

A white cocktail napkin and rubber band work just as well. Have used them many times and joked about naming my system and selling it ala Gary.

Amen! :)  Or, in my case, a Kleenex and hairband, the two things I never leave home without.  Well, besides my camera.

I just got mine today.  I don't tote my flash around for day-to day use, but I hate how harsh the onboard flash is.  I figure I have paid more for a useless diffuser and this is cute, not obnoxious,  and works really well.

I've used the napkin/elastic rig, but it bugs the bejeezuz out of me.

I love the Puffer! It's light, easy to use, great price, and can store it easily!! I do 98% of my shooting out-doors or without a flash. This si the perfect solution for those 2% that I'll be using a flash with ;-)

Bought one at Wolf camera a few weeks ago when they were having their "re-location sale" got it for $9.00. Never thought I would use it much, but, I thought it was cheap enough to try. Tried it and liked it, especially for the price!! Stick out tongue

Hi, I just got one yesterday and started fooling with it this morning. It seems like it is blocking the flash, rather than diffusing it. I'm using a Nikon CoolPix 8700 which is about 4 years old now and it seems to have a sensor right next to the flash. I think the difuser is blocking the sensor. Anyone else having the same issue?
