Where can i find some realy good free actions???

thanks....the link doesnt work. I tried a search and found several links for atn actions but none of them worked...any suggestions?

 I have many free actions by searching "free actions for photoshop" . They are "ok"

But I have better success with Photoblast actions. PB is a member of the forum. Here is his site. You can get actions one at a time or in a grouping. Very reasonably priced. I really like them and use them all the time.  http://www.ezactions.com/actions.aspx

I have tried the link that  iphoto gave and it didn't work for me either. They must be upgrading.

I'm really busy right now (and hardly on here) because we are buying a new home and just started cleaning, sorting, packing and trying to move things out to our building so we can get everything else done. I just tried the link and it does work. You might have to copy and paste it into your browser. I can't make it a link on the forum because that doesn't work on a MAC.

I have some really fun free ones on my site.  One does a black and white conversion and adds 14 color overlays you can choose from.

 There are others too.  have fun looking.

I agree with Shelley--EZ Actions are the way to go!  There are some nice ones on the other sites, but John's (EZ Actions) are the ones I use over and over again.  Not only are they very inexpensive (around $6-$8 each), but they are super easy! (I really like that part of the action is to duplicate your image).  I usually sell at least one image per session that I have used one of John's actions on.  My favs are the Porcelain, Midnight color and his BW conversion one.

I too agree with photoblast actions!  They are GREAT!  I have bought a couple seperately - great prices and they work very well....AND he is very helpful! Good Luck.

Yeah, I know how to do it but I am just too lazy to type it all.  I figure if someone can't copy and paste a link I post, then it probably wasn't worth it to them anyway.

 I heres ya, I figure for the other peeps. I keep various codes in a textedit file. When I need it I go up to recent and snatch the code(s) that I need.

Hey I just wanted to tell you that once I downloaded a whole bunch of those freebies and then when i tried to open photoshop (after installing them) everything in PS was GONE......I had no brushes, no actions, NO NOTHING.....it sucked I had to unistall it and then reinstall it......and I lost a lot of stuff......I say go with the photoblast actions too..........they're like 8 bucks! And atleast you wont get something you dont want!!!!

I don't know where or what you have downloaded. Sometimes preferences are corrupted in PS all by themselves. Shoot my illustrator will not open neither will golive.
