Tongue Tied [:S] Mac. users - please help

Is there any free downloadable programs that will allow me to add a watermark copyright to my pictures? I have the program Aperture with my Apple...I have searched the help menu and it says I can add a watermark by creating one and saving it as a photoshop file. I do not have photoshop. Any suggestions? I really need this info for my web site and a photo shoot I just completed. Thanks for any help.

Do a search for a program called ImageWell. It will allow you to resize and add a watermark, etc. Easy to use.

I created mine when I had a free trial of Photoshop and I use Aperture to apply it to all outgoing pics. I've requested in-program watermark creation abilities from Apple many times (along with dodge and burn capabilities). Rumor has it that a big update to the software is coming up pretty soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

What do you know! Aperture 2.0 was released today. I downloaded the free trial (unfortunately Apple is charging $199 for the software and $99 for an upgrade from a previously purchased version). I wasn't that impressed. I really wanted a dodge & burn feature and they didn't include it. Sad
