    E-Session

These are photos from a recent e-session w/ my good friend Mike and his fiance Breanne.  I'd appreciate some honest critique.  Thanks guys.

    #1

     #2

    #3

    #4

    #5

Hi Ashley!  #'s 1 and 4 are my favorites, I think they are going to love them!  I'd try a second option crop on number one, tighter on his back to remove the house and car, and you'd also then want to lose some of the left hand side, get the stone wall in just to the edge of the DOF blur.  Maybe? What do you think?

Arg, stupid house and car.  I honestly didn't even notice.  And I kept trying not to shoot while cars were going by either.

If you shoot this couple again I would try a birds eye shot.  My friend resembles Breanna and she prefers photos taken that way. (She doesn't like her neck showing much.)  She has beautiful skin too!  I read that it helps to have the model leaning forward slightly but I have not tried this.

     Sweet couple.  Love the lighting.

I love the comp. in 4 you framed them very well Yes I would maybe do a tighter crop on 5 possibly right below his fingers in her back pocket. I think it balances them more out and makes them look even and not so wide. Love the swing shot too...super cute!

I like them all, but crop #5 a bit. I haven't met a woman yet that wants a butt-size comparison shot with her man.

Thanks for all the advice guys.  I hadn't thought about a lot of the critiques mentioned.

I LOVE these except for #3 - something about her expression looks like she's giving him a fake kiss, but the rest I love.  And I love the swingset shot!!

The color is great in all of these - and great dof.
