ok so it's a long shot..GA meet up... 2009!! party down south!! APRIL 10 thru 12th

anyone up for thinking about a Meet up in Savannah GA. Around either April of next year or Oct of next year...just kicking it around to see where it goes...i am tired of missing out i wanted to go to the East Coast Meet Up but not a good time for me so maybe with enough planning and enough time this could work out...

no need to make a deff plan right now, just trying to see where it might go but i can tell you that it will be in GA, why....well becuase that is just one place that I have always wanted to visit!!

Oh, yeah!  Savannah sounds sweet!  Great little happy town too!!!  Especially in the spring!  Shake off all those winter blues.  I would be SOOO in for that one.  Have you considered WV as dgrits asked?  It will be my very first, really nervous about it, having no idea what it is like.  But you know what they say about after you get your feet wet with a first experience!

My family had already considered a trip to Savannah in October so if you do it then I might be able to come.  Savannah is so beautiful and we'd get to meet Gabismom since she's Little Miss Savannah herself.  Beer and low country food never sounded better.  Except that everybody will have cameras and the proof will be undeniable.  We can, of course, always blame it on PhotoShop.  LOL  "Hey, they PS'd that bottle of tequila in my hand, I was drinking Bud Lite, er um, Iced Tea."

Amy...that would be awesome....if this all pans out we actually could meet up and do that....the 4 of us would probably be a riot (well, 5 if Shandi comes to model which I know she would want too).

Look, see, I'm already bringing a model LOL!

I did consider it, but I have to work that weekend.  That's the only problem with October or April dates.  If you work in the wedding business, those weekends are typically booked well ahead of time.  However, if we pick next April for the Savannah meet-up, I might be able to block it off on my calendar.

After I hit post, I remembered that the W VA meet-up is in September.  We're booked for wedding for every weekend in September and October.  Same goes for April-June of this year.  Where I work, most of our weddings are outdoors, so July and August drop off sharply, but I'm not wanting to go to Savannah during the hottest months of the year!
