Amy, I would leave Friday after work.  I get off at 5, but may be able to leave an hour or so early.  If we left right at 5, we wouldn't get to your place until close to midnight.  Everyone tells me I'll tire easier in the third trimester, so I don't think I'll be staying up much later than that.  We can go all day Saturday, and then leave whenever Sunday.  Too bad we can't carpool to Peoria, it would make it so much fun!!!  And if you drove just another hour and a half West, you'd hit my little city!

Oh dargggnit...I just looked at my calender and I have a party on Friday and a wedding on Saturday that weekend...I give, I'm nevah going to get to meet all of you that are closest to me

Maybe in the Summer we can all hook up down this way at Clifty Falls State Park. I'll volunteer Shandi as a model wherever we can get together at some point...she's wanting more pics for her portfolio and I think she's tired of Me LOLOL!

 I am available for that 14th-15th weekend. I really wanted to go to the Babies & Bellies in Peoria, but I might be able to sacrifice it....maybe....LOL!

Ha ha.  Thanks.  :)  This morning, I asked DH if a certain shirt made me look fat.  He looks at me and says with a straight face "No, but that big belly does."  What a smart ass!!!

I need to talk to my sister, she wants to have my shower that weekend, but I think I can get her to change it.

Ok, guys.  Update.  Had an appointment with my OB yesterday and asked about driving to IN.  She agreed flying is out of the question at this point, since I am just now getting over whatever it was I got 4 weeks ago coming home from Vegas.

At this time, she said I can go, however I have to ask again in a month when I have my 27 week visit, and she said I'd be really restricted on what I could do.  I'll be 32 weeks, which is still safe, but she isn't really comfortable with me being that far from home.  She also said that we would have to stop every hour to hour and a half so that I could stretch my legs and walk around for at least 10 minutes to prevent blood clots in my legs and reduce swelling.  She said even if I don't regularly swell, being in a car that long, I will swell up, and possibly cramp up.  I'd have to take baby aspirin to thin out my blood, too, for the week before and the entire weekend, to help prevent blood clots.

So, what should be a 7 hour drive will easily turn into an 8 1/2 or 9 hour drive (that is with hourly stops, in all honesty it will likely be more often, ths bladder doesn't hold much at this point!).  I won't be able to take a day off work, the earliest I could probably leave is 4, which would put us there around midnight (that is assuming that I'm packed and actually leave straight from work, and don't hvae to go home or anything first).  We'd also have to leave early Sunday to make sure I was home at a decent enough time to get sleep.  And I know how we are all when we get together, we might not get much sleep Saturday, plus by that point, not a lot of physical exertion will wear me out.

Long story short, I don't think I can make it.  There is a good chance the doctor will say no a month from now, or even the day before I am supposed to leave to come out.  After this past month of being sick, she didn't sound to keen on me traveling at all, but said she can't really stop me.  I have a wedding the weekend before and the weekend after, so I don't know if running three weekends in a row will be good for me and baby.

Totally understandable, Wendi. I was kind of wondering whether I would be able to get the $$$ together anyway. I am going to Chicago to the I Shoot People Tour (Figured I might as well just go since I need to go up there) and to do an engagement session in July and all of this traveling is killing my money tree! I definitely want to get something planned for this fall, even if it is just a few of us. Do you want me to get the ball rolling on plans for that? I think you really have a lot of stuff to plan for right now (BABY! HELLO! LOL), so I have no problem doing all of the legwork and just getting help from you here and there.

Hee hee.  Your post count is my birthday.  Sort of. 2017, 2/17.  Ah, man, I really need some serious sleep!!!!!

 This will make my sister happy, she wanted to have my shower on the 14th or 15th, and I told her no.  Now she can.  Blah.

I was going to post something with dates that would work for me, and see what everyone thought.  If you wanted to take the lead, that works for me!

bummer guys! I just had a chance to read this.  I had 35 girls sign up for TTD!!!!  We're going to have to put names in a hat and draw just a few.

If anyone else can make it let me know by May 15th so I can figure on how many girls to draw.

6 hours...hmm...how many times do you think I would get lost and how much do you think gas will be by then ?!?!?! This would be a really awesome opportunity as I am really looking at targeting seniors and want to offer something very different. I have some awesome senior TTD type images, but I'd love to expand my portfolio and get some fresh faces in there. That's so awesome that you have that many girls interested. Think we could rope any guys by chance?

Let me talk to my hubby about it and see what he thinks.

Yes, I'm still doing this.   As soon as I get through softball pictures in 2 weeks I'll be making phone calls to line up the girls.

I still want to do this, but with Bren's upcoming surgery and Wendi's upcoming birthing (ha ha) I'd like to hold off til maybe August.

Devan - I have one ADOREABLE girl that we can go out and shoot just for a few hours if you still want to come up - it's the 5'2" girl on the front page of my website.  Or if you want to hold off until August, I understand.

Oh - and Bellies & Babies has added new dates - the one for INDY is gonna be in August - maybe we can make a weekend of it!!!!

 

August sounds good to me, but dont hold out on my account.  Oh, August 16th (I think)I have been asked to shot Harolds neices wedding which I totally wont be ready for so if anyone wants to have some fun with me (unpaid of course), last I heard its in Lebanon, IN. 

I definitely won't be there in August, since I'm due right smack-dab in the middle of the month.  My whole fall is busy with baby-having and weddings.  The earliest it looks like I'll be going anywhere is November, and then that will be limited since I'll just be getting back to the dayjob from maternity leave.
