Just wanted to let everyone know that I spoke with the travel agent today. We have 50 rooms reserved on the ship at this point, so there is plenty of room for everyone.

If you were concerned about putting the deposit in and then not being able to go, the $25/person deposit is refundable if you need to cancel before August 2009. So don't hold back! Go ahead and reserve your room!!!

I am so excited for this trip! Can't wait to see everyone!

At this point we only have a few rooms that will hold 3 or 4 people. I guess you can only request those 5 at a time, so as they fill up, the travel agent will have to request more.

If you are looking at getting 2 rooms and someone backs out, you can sell the room to someone else or if it is before the deadline next year, you can just get your deposit back on that room. (Although we would need a deposit for 2 people for each room. We don't have any single occupancy rooms reserved. Maybe if your daughter wants her own room, she could room with someone else on here who is traveling solo. The beds can be set up as 2 twins. Just a thought!)

We only have a limited number of rooms that can be triples or quads. If you are thinking that you want to go that way, I would recommend putting in 3 deposits and reserving the triple or quad. That would lower the cost overall too. If we book up all the triples and quads, we can request more, but we can only request them 5 rooms at a time since there is a limited number. It is possible that we could switch a double to a triple or quad later, but I don't think it could be guaranteed.

Balcony Room: $586.04 per person (Double Occupancy)  or   $301.04 per person (Triple or Quad Occupancy) 

Will we receive a confirmation and booking info?  Will we be able to contact the rep if we have questions?  What if we want to pay a little each month or something?  Can we do that?

After the initial deposits are made, you will all be able to work with the travel agent directly. Her name is Linda and she is very nice!

I think how the room's work is that the 1st 2 people are at the double rate and then the 3rd person is cheaper, so it isn't the 3 people rate for all people. But if you have 3 people, you can agree to split the total room by 3 and that would make it cheaper per person.

Example: 2 people in a balcony room would total $1172.08. With 3 people, the room total would be $1473.12. Making it $491.04 per person divided equally.

Steph, did you get my Deposit and info? 

I was looking on the website and am not sure if the interior rooms have connecting.   Can you check that?  If not I'll have to go with a different style room because I MUST have connecting rooms.  

I did get your deposits and info. I will check with Linda when I talk to her next and let you know. I put in my notes that you have to have connecting rooms. (I am keeping a running spreadsheet of everyone so that I can keep track of everyone! LOL)

If you are paying with a credit card through Paypal, send $26 per person. If you are just paying from your Paypal account to mine, it is $25 per person. (The extra dollar per person covers the fees that Paypal charges me for the credit cards.)
