Do you offer yours as part of your package?

How many pages is your "standard" album? do you offer additional pages?  how much per page?

Do you offere different styles of albums? (coffee table (heavy yearbook type pages), lay flat albums from Millers, etc)

 Do you pick the pictures or do they?

How do you have them approve the design? 

I am getting into puting some more packages and making some final decisions about if I should have couples choose images or not (I've done it both ways and not sure which is better).  And I still don't have a great way for them to look at their design.  I guess I could make an account for it on my proofing site-- like I do for all their images.

Hi, I haven't been in the buiz for very long. I've shot 6 weddings thus far, but I'll try to answer your questions as to what has worked for me.

I do offer an album in my package, it is a 20 page 10x10 Renessiance ventura leather album engraved. I let them pick out 40 of there favorite shots and 6 of there ultimate favorites that they want full spread. I then design it and upload it into a private proofing online album for them to proof. They give me a green light for printing and I print. It seems to have worked out thus far, but I to would like to hear what everyone else does.

I offer an album, but mine is basically every picture I take. Well, obviously not EVERY picture, but I take alot of pics..details shots, etc...I take around 500 pics in a 5 hour day, and many are 3 of the exact same thing, and whittle it down to about 200-ish...just however many I end up including.  My thing is that I'm not giving them a proof album, I'm giving them an album that tells the story of their day.  If I take a detail shot of the bride's shoes...obviously I don't expect her to order an 8x10 of it...but she'll have it in the album I gave her so that she can remember every single detail of her big day. Otherwise what's the point of taking a picture of her shoes? I usually put it all in the 4x6 tap proof album, but I rip out all of the "order" pages that are in between the photo pages.  My proofing and ordering I do online so there's no need for an album to order from.
