I just opened my laptop to turn it on and hear a cracking sound and the display felt weird as it opened.  The left hinge just broke.  Now there is a hole the size of the hinge on the left side bottom of the display.  I just sent it in to get it fixed 6 months ago.  Sheeesh.  The warranty on it is for 6 months.  We'll see if they honor it or if they blow it off, since technically speaking I am a couple of days past 6 months, like 5 days only.  This just sucks.  I'm going to double check and make sure everything is backed up.

Ok, I miss counted.  I still have a couple of weeks left on the warranty, but it still sucks.

Oh, and my wacom tablet decided it didn't want to work today either.  There is a short in the cord.....not because the cord is crimped or anything, it is where the cord goes into the tablet.  You know, where the cord is reinforced to add stability to it.  It's been one of those days I guess. 

Good luck with the warranty...i never have luck with those, they only cover this or that or not this and only that...hope it get's all fixed up for you, within a REASONABLE time :-)

I did pull it out to play with it earlier in the day.  I was going to play around with off camera flash a bit, but the batteries in the flash were dead.  I was a little annoyed b/c I really wanted to play a little bit, but maybe that was a good thing that I put it away.
