Some of you may remember my first maternity session that I posted a few weeks back. The couple just found out that 1/2 of the baby's heart is not working and there is a chance that it will not make it. I don't know any more details, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray for this baby. awww GEESH, that is horrible news, how far along is she?  My best to the parents, and sening prayers off...dang

Oh goodness how terrible.  The happiness you can see in their faces in the second photo makes it even more emotional for me...knowing how they're probably feeling right now.

Oh no!  Atley has the same condition (right-sided).  The entire right side of his heart didn't form in utero.  It hasn't been easy, but he's now 8 and doing really well for his heart defects.

 Just wanted to update and let everyone know that the baby is doing awesome! He was born on July 7th and is in recovery at the University of Iowa Children's hospital. He may be able to come home as soon as Monday.
