    question regarding photoshop

I have CS3, am still learning. Does anyone have suggestions on making circles? I have used the elliptical marquee tool, but gets to be kind of cumbersome when you want to do many circles and recreate them over and over. Also, what about if you want circles in a specific pattern. There must be an easier way than what I"m doing. any suggestions are appreciated! thanks!!

First Off here are a couple hints, maybe you know maybe you don't

Hold down the shift key and it will make a perfect circle, if you continue to hold down the shift it will allow you to add more circles but you then loose the perfect circle function so you have to be more careful.

If you get a pattern of circles you like and want to use it again on another image Go to select/ Save Selection and then save it as a PSD file. You then on the next image you want to use it on, go to Select: Load selection and look for that file and it will  be applied as a new channel on that new image

    also try the shape tool.

and you can make a circle "brush"

make a circle selection, the go to the edit menu and choose stroke and set a pixel width that is in line with what you need, the set inside or outside. and  okay.

now go back to the edit menu and choose "define brush preset" and give you new circle brush a clever name like circle200 (if the brush is 200 pixels wide)

the new brush will be at the bottom of the active brush list.

hey this might be a good one for a tutorial!

PS the marqee tools let you set both fixed sizes and fixed aspect ratios foor a circle that would be 1:1
