Listening to This Week In Photography this past week...they made a comment that I think applies here..

"you wanna improve your photography? go LOOK at some photography"

While we are all trying to get better and better each day... you have some brilliant people in your own backyard here at Mpix..

I am ordering one right now, I encourage all of you to do the same, but not only that,  Take 1/2 hour each day, and check out some of the blogs, galleries of some of your fellow mpixers.

While granted ..I am a huge moose fan.. While his choice of mate sometimes confuses me, his photography never does.

We are all in this together gang.. make sure you support your own.

Besides... I've drank 30.00 worth of tequila... and the 30.00 spent on Moose's book will be much more memorable.

Cheers Mate...  Not only my homeland's birthday today, but Moose publishes a book.

    What could be better.

Wasn't that a movie with Val Kilmer and Vincent De'onofrio?

Seriously, where do we get the personally signed versions of the book?  I'll put it right next to my personally autographed Annie Leibovitz book!  Big Smile

Re: The Salton Sea - The Book

Are you serious you would want them signed? Hehehe

Well, If you really are, you would have to but them through me. I would order it, sign it and mail it to you.

Or you could come to San Diego and I will sign it poolside

Or if you already bought, you could send it to me and I send it back.

If you really want this, PM me

Oh yeah, you bet I want it signed.  Well, when I order it.  On Thursday.  Because it's appropriate for the subject.  Can you guess?

Anyway, I thought you could get into a mess if you start putting in orders for people who want them signed, then don't pay you back.  I figured the best system would be to order the  book, and have it shipped directly to you for signature.  Then either paypal or mail you the return shipping charges.  Whichever you prefer......... (Unless this book website can set up such an option?  That would be almost too good to be true!)

Will there be any prints available for order?

Yes, I definitely want a hard cover, personally signed book.  If I have a choice, I always want one signed by the author/artist.  Besides, it's going right next to my signed Annie Leibovitz book!  Big Smile  Fortunately for you, it's not her latest one, which is what her exhibition featured.  Do you want me to send you a check, paypal, whatever......just let me know.  I'd much prefer getting it personally signed, while I'm spending a weekend on Coronado Island, but that's not happenin' this month!

Moose!  Very exciting!  Can't wait to get my hands on this one.

The Salton Sea is right in my backyard . . . as a matter of fact (rather ironic), I woke this morning to that awful sulphur smell that sometimes wafts its' way into the Coachella Valley on hot, humid days.   Of all days! Ick! I had an early morning shoot of 3 luxury home exteriors.   I lucked out though and the winds shifted and the odor was gone before I got to the sight.   Please tell me that you did NOT include a scratch & sniff image!!!!!   LOL

If you have filled up an entire book of images from there then I am certain you know of this 'odor' I'm describing.  Tragic really.

    Congratulations!

    Sheri
