    print sizes *someone help please*

i was wondering how big of prints you other canon digital rebel xti users have gotten and still had good quality. I wanted to print something as a 12x24 but i don't want to waste the money if it's just going to come back all pixelated. I figured i should be able to get something close to that since i've printed an 11x14 off of my 5mp kodak P&S camera and it looked great and really clear. So anyway.....i need some advice with this please. Thanks in advance!

Just because YOU like it doesn't mean everone else will and just because everone ELSE likes it doesn't mean you should!

I printed 20x30's from my old 10d camera.  A 12x24 will be fine, go for it!  Be sure you have a sharp image to begin with, and also carefully go over the file at 100% or better looking for and correcting any sensor dust or other things you want to retouch out.  These spots are always glaringly obvious in prints, but not seen sometimes on smaller screens at 33% or whatever.

    Rodney-D200, D300, 12-24, 17-55, 70-200 etc.

I have an XT and have printed a 20x30 with no problems.  As long as your picture is sharp, you shouldn't have any problems.  I had a huge poster made off of an image from a 5mp p&s that came back looking great, so you shouldn't have any problems with an image from an XTi.
