I am working on finding a place for the meet and greet and hoping to get in touch with some people today. I am also waiting to hear back from Krissy and the hotel.

 The family is heading to DC this weekend for a little R&R with Tammy's family and get some more planning done then...
 

DUH!

I did have my reservations.....but now they are under the group block LOL....glad I remembered to check that!

After an initial issue that caused me to fear that I wasn't going to be able to make it, things have changed and unless something drastic happens, I will be there.  The only thing is I am not sure if I will make it for Friday night.  

I haven't made reservations yet but will try to do so in the next week as soon as I can confirm which nights I will be there for.

I will be there, but will probably not be getting a room because it is not too far a drive for me.  (It would be silly to pay for a room!)  I can work on getting together some kid-friendly activities, but honestly, there aren't a TON here.  I'll try to piece something together. . . . maybe I'll call the chamber and see if I can get some suggestions.  Gro - thanks for jumping in.  I haven't been on the forum a lot lately.  I've had a Dad who had surgery, we've had a lot of turnover in the office lately, one of my babysitters cancelled (permanently!) and they have recently offered me a full-time postion with salary.  So things have been a little hectic.  I'm normally a lot more organized, and this is creeping up REALLY fast.  Do we have a tentative schedule yet?

I have it marked on my calendar.  I'd LOVE to come, but I'll have to play it by ear.  I just bought a car and I'm trying to watch my money.  As long as I'm not completely broke (and gas isn't $5 a gallon) I'll be there!

I meant hour by hour - a couple local photogs have asked if they could join in on some of the activities.  Did we ever find anyone that would be willing to do high-key?  And also, do we know who is bringing what equipment?

I am bringing three AB400s and light and background stands for my part of the day.   What I don't have is a portable background that I can bring (don't want to ride with a canvas background across the front seat for 4 days), so if someone has a muslin they can let me use that would be great.  I could also use a reflector and stand to hold it.

As for the high key, I can include that as part of the lighting class if someone will bring a couple of lights and a white paper background.  I know Marti is coming so maybe she can bring hers. 

There is no hour by hour schedule yet, we are waiting to get some more info.

 I will be ordering the banner tomorrow, so if you have any suggestions to what should be on it. let me know today!

 I have the Strobist DVD set, 8 hours total. It's a set of DVDs of one of David Hobby's seminars. I'm thinking we can set it up someplace and watch at least a few hours at a time. And better yet make a drinking game... every time he says strobe, gotta take a drink!
