Mucho Kudos to Shelly (Riverview Photo)

I just have to stand up and applaud Shelly!!! Yes

I don't know if many of you stop over to the Photo Sharing/Critiques section, but I do when I can. And I love to look at the images, but I rarely comment.

But Shelly seems to leave a little something for everyone that posts over there! She is always on top of it and I don't know if anyone posts over there as much as she does.

So mucho kudos to you Shelly for being a great friend and fellow photographer to all of us! You make us all feel special in the Photo Sharing and Critiques section!

You know, this is soooo true!  When I post images I do look for Shelly's comments, I guess because she always has responded and I am so grateful to her for that.  So mega kudos to Shelly and a great big THANK YOU!

I agree.  Shelly is one of the most upbeat and helpful people on the forum.  I know there are a lot of others on the forum who also have those same traits but what stand out to me about Shelly is how consistent she is, in her attitude ( even my mild manner self have known to come out of left field and make a tackle every now and then Wink)   and she is very good at what she does whether it's shooting or editing.

I think that was very nice and thoughtful Steph to give her special kudos on a thread.  Yes

    Touche'

Shelly has helped me in a lot of ways and I've noticed her posting and helping a lot of people over there.  She even goes behind the scenes with PMs and above and beyond to help us.

I say Shelly gets a hero's welcome at the next meet-up she attends.

    +1

I am far from a regular poster (though I'm trying to participate more), and Shelly has always commented on and played with my images. I hugely appreciate her input!

I had to look at the title three times to make sure it was me that you all were talking about.Embarrassed

I am in total tears !!!!! Seriously! I am sitting here just tearing up something terrible. *Sniff*

I gotta have an Oprah moment here.....Stand back, please...( Like in the color purple) .........I have never been accepted anywhere before here on this forum. Not because I'm overweight, hairy, ugly....pimply, or an A-hole............I've always been quiet ( YAY ! I said "quiet" ! And painfully shy not to mention horribly abused. Can ya believe that? )

You folks have made me feel not only accepted.........but loved........... adored and wanted. Something I never had before. I guess that is what feeds my Mpix addiction.

I love to work on your photos and I really enjoy looking at everyones work. You don't realize that you are the ones who have helped me , not the other way around.

And yes I also work hard at my day job ( YAY ! I work 40-60 hrs a week making florescent light bulbs. So that's why I haven't seen this post until now)

My partner at work was just crying because I got bummed to another group. ( We had people retire, group shutting down........= higher seniority, people bump the lower senior people.) She said "No one will help me like you do !!!! " .............What a sweetie.

So I in return, tip my hat to you all. I really appreciate all of the wonderful comments.

    **SNIFF**

Now I must blow my nose in a tissue cause my sleeve is getting sticky.........LOL!

    Love ya guys !

    We love you too Shelly!

You are definitely the kind of friend that I want to keep around for a very long time! You aren't the kind of friend that would bail me out at 3am from jail....but that is only because you would be sitting beside me! LOL

Thanks for being a great friend!
