    ok, well....

    to answer some questions i just upgraded from a canon powershot pro1 which i shot ALL in manual. it was a great LEARNING aid. This d300 is my first SLR of any kind. here are my first couple shots....

    Yay...you finally got it! Party!!!

    The images you posted look a little soft in her face a bit to me, maybe that's a 'resizing for the web' issue? The dof looks real nice. Beautiful model and great location choice. Looking forward to seeing many more image posts taken with your new baby!
