Last time I saw a post from her, they thought her mother was very near the end.  Just wondering how she is doing and if anyone has been in touch with her.

 I haven't seen her either :(

 If anyone knows something please post it.

I actually got an email today from Gro's husband saying that her Mom is hanging in there. When Gro last contacted me she said that her Mom was home from the hospital but didn't look good. I think they are prepared for her to go soon.

My mother is still alive but she is ready to take the the next step. She has not had anything to eat or drink the last two weeks and is worn out. My father believes that she will pass away within the next few days. I do not think it has sunk in that she will be gone within the next week or so and I am not prepared for her to go. The kids are doing very well and understand that this is it for her and they seam to deal with it in a good way.

I have been working alot of nights and am tired as well (working as a bouncer and last night alone we kicked a guy out for peeing out the bathroom window anda couple for having s e x in the ladies room in addition to the people making trouble and just beeing too drunk....) I do not mind working  as much as I have been, I have a lot of good friends that are here for me and my family and it is a good distraction.  I have told them that I will take the next week off and spend time with the family.

My oldest brother has been here from Oslo and it has been nice to spend time with him and his family.

 I will keep you updated with any changes that happens, thank you so much for thinking of me and my family.

(former bartender/bouncer who was tending one night and had a guy ordering...in a very strange voice. Bar was crowded...looked down to see...well, he was being "tended" to by more then me! Thought an odd, but understanding, chuckle would be appreciated)

 I knocked hard on the doors and told them to get out (not knowing which one they were in) when I saw the feet facing the wall, I knocked hard and told them to get out right now,  they opened the door and looked straight down on the floor and I did not even have to tell them again to get out of the bar. The poor woman using the other bathroom came out confused, asking how long she had been there. I had to tell her that I was sorry to disturb her when she was using the bathroom, but I was unsure where the couple were...

OMG Gro, that poor woman LOL! I can't imagine being in the loo and hearing someone banging on the door saying to get out right now! And asking how long she'd been there...oh, yeah, that would have been me!
