    Snapshot to Cool Shot

    Hey All

Here are just a few ideas to turn a boring snapshot (left) into a more creative image.

Tilt the camera down to the left or right for a cool looking image.

In Photoshop or Elements, use the Blur Tool (Zoom) on a Layer to selectively blur part of the image, as I did here - blurring the boy's smokin' hands and guitar!

Desaturate the image. Removing some of the color removes some of the reality. When you remove the reality, the picture becomes more artistic.

Add a digital frame. Here I used one from PhotoFrame 3 from onOnesoftware.com.

    Have fun!

    Best

    Thanks, Rick,

Love the reminders and new ideas! I tend to get into a rut and this just kicked me out of it!
