    Printing the whole image.

In my years of doing this, I've been very frustrated by Fuji Frontier printers that if I have a photo (in particular if there are full bleed graphics), the printer enlarges the photo by just a little bit, enough to cut critical edge graphics.  Most FF kiosks let you "zoom out" a notch which helps protect from the edge trimming.

I had not noticed that from MPIX until my last order where it was clearly blown up a little and I lost some critical edge graphics.  The person the print was for didn't notice it.

Why if I send an 8x10 sized photo that is the exact ratio, why we have to loose some edge.  Any thoughts?  Is there a specific amount in pixels/percent that we need to add to the canvs to avoid this?

    Thanks

    Rob

I'll have to go back and look at the FAQ's page... but this is addressed in there somewhere.  All printers have some degree of "drift" that must be accounted for.  I'm sure if you posted in the MPIX section of the forum one of the MPIX guys would give you the specifics.   :o)

Check out our most recent endeavor...GownStop.com. It's still a bit of a work in progress, but you get the idea. :o)
