    Is it that time already?!?

I just scheduled my first Christmas appointment for November 23rd.

When do you guys start shooting for Christmas?  I need to set a date for myself to have my holiday setup ready to go.

I have already scheduled 3!! 2 are as early as September. Based on my experience at Sears, these are the smart moms. Get it scheduled and taken care of before the rush. Smile

I think it means you are talented.  By your photos I know that's true.

I will be taking my last Christmas appointment on December 2nd.....Deadline to order will be that weekend.

I have already had an order for Christmas cards, it came in yesterday....100!

I hate hate HATE the holidays because everyone puts it off until the last minute and then it becomes my problem.....in their eyes.  I start my job with the newspaper in Mid-October through end of November, so I always remind my clients to get their appointments early.

I know around here they do Christmas photos as early as mid-October to give plenty of time to get the photos back before time to mail the cards.  It feels weird buying Christmas outfits in August and September to do pictures in October but before I started doing my own photos, that's what you had to do.  The children's specialty shops will start taking orders for those cute little Bailey Boys and other outfits.
