 We had a fantastic time at the Memphis Meet-up last year and we'd like to do it again!!!!

I'll be heading this one up and anyone who wants to help out is welcome.  Sauceycatt was a fantastic help last year and she is planning to help as much as she can this year, but she does have a precious new baby to take care of.

We will be shooting on location in super cool downtown Memphis, as well as surrounding areas if the interest is there. We will have a space provided for studio lighting demonstrations and just "hanging out" as well. 

Models will be provided, but if shooting people isn't your thing, we'll have plenty of opportunities to shoot really cool fine art stuff.

The weather was GORGEOUS for us last year, so we have it at a similiar time this year.

halloween weekend??? can we go trick or treating??? im gonna wanna road trip... but i'll be a maybe for this one- i am just all over the place these days. I may have crashed by then!

If it's anything but the first weekend you listed, I might be able to make it. 

My daughter's b'day party is the 19th. 

I might also have to catch up with you guys on Saturday morning because I'm off so much with Fall Break, etc. in October that I won't be able to take another day off work.  I can drive to Memphis in about 4 hours so I could drive there on Friday night and catch up with you guys Saturday morning. 

Memphis is so much fun!!!!

Provided I can stay out of the doctor's office this time and not have another eye infection, and you don't put it on that weekend, I am planning on being there.

Oh, pooh!  And, I'll be in Nashville on November 7, 8 and 9.  But I don't think my family would appreciate me popping over to Memphis.  The 7th is my hubby's birthday.

I may have a couple that might model for us, depending on the weekend and their schedules. 

I am shooting their wedding (GASP - yes its true - I am doing a wedding - AGAIN) next June in Florida and they have been wanting an engagement shoot.  I am doing something else for my part of the shoot that they had requested previously.

Debbie, a "pop over" to Memphis from Nashville would take you at LEAST 4-5 hours one way.  Maybe your daughter can just meet you in Memphis for a little family vaca.  hehe

 I'm booked.  Dangit.

I vote for one of the last three weekends.  A Halloween weekend shoot would be interesting, but I'm open for any of them.

I do agree with Joel, we are kind of open for the dates you posted, it would be cool for sure to spend halloween in Memphis, but I do understand that some of the mpixers have kids that they might want to take trick'n'treating in their hometowns.

I would like to come to, but I am one of those parents that have a 5 year old that would NEVER forgive me if I did not take him "Trick or Treating". I will keep watch and see what happens.

kang2222 - I'm going to do the Trick or Treating thing with my 5 year old and then show up on Saturday if I get to go.  Trying to talk some girlfriends into making the trip with me and they can be models too.
