Congratulations on getting this shot, I imagine it was challenging. I would suggest cropping closer on the wapiti overlooking the valley, and letting the mountains go. While I understand trying to get both the elk and the total majesty of the scene, to me the elk distracts from the mountain, and the mountain distracts from the elk.
