I would consider heading north to Omaha, but the weekend of the 25th is the meet up in Iowa. If it was another time it'd be a go!

Hard for me to say just yet, but looks like volleyball, football and soccer will be over for the kids.  Well football playoffs will still be going but on the 19th and 26th so the 25th is still open. I'm not sure about cheerleading yet since I don't have a complete schedule for it.  I could do the Omaha meet for sure on the 25th.  Iowa if it is just the 25th I could probably do the one day there too if that is what is decided.

On another note I need to ask my fellow Omaha area photogs about a shoot I've been asked to do.  I may need a back up incase the date doesn't work for me. 

My ex's oldest has spina bifida and plays in the Challenger softball league in Omaha.  Tiffany's coach's wife puts on a prom for all the special needs kids in Omaha every year.  She and her son do all the fund raising and put this thing together for these kids and they have a real blast.

She has asked me to do the pictures this coming year, sometime in March but not sure of the exact date yet.  All they do is take a photo of each of the kids and they just get 4x6 prints.  It doesn't pay very much, around $200 to $250 I think, but it is only a couple hours shooting time. 

If any of you think you might be interested in doing this if I can't make it, please let me know.   

I would certainly be interested in the shoot if you are unable to do it. email me a date.

We will keep working on all the other details of the next meet-up. It is hard, but we will eventually find one you can attend.

I'm hoping we are still on for the 26th.  I talked to Tonya's mother today and may be able to bring Tonya along to model.  I just did some homecoming pictures for her tonight.  She is the one in the pink dress.

26'th should work fine for me too if we are still planning on bringing kids to trade and practice with.
