anyone seen the new commercials they have out now.. OMG they are awesome!!  thats all I wanted to say.

Everyone laughs at me cause i'm addicted to the show. I just love that family. Im just too curious as to how they do things with that many kids. I think they're awesome. I saw the new comm. and they are too cute.

I love the show and the new commercial for their monday line up rocks. It is really nicely done!

What are the new commercials. I love that show, but I don't think I've seen new ones lately. Did you see the Vow Renewal episodes?

Im watching the Roloff's right now on TLC. 

We love Jon & Kate too.   Harold cant stand Kate though.  He thinks she is the biggest ***. lol    Sometimes she is. 

I feel like I know those kids.  I want to spank Mady and Kara.... whine bags!!!   

 

awww. . .I love the Gosslins (sp).  I also feel like I know the show.  I love Lexi and Leah.  Those two are dolls.

 William is always asking if we could go over and play with the 8 kids. :)  I watch it when there is nothing else on, because it's something the boys will watch a little of, too.

Me too! I have told my husband that that is what I want when we move into a new home. Exactly that! He looks at me like I am nuts!

I just look back at him and say Hey I can have my Photography business right there. Wouldn't have to leave the house!

welcome Mandi, for your first post!  She had a tummy tuck, donated by a Dr's wife, who took her in for a period of time.  The husband was the plastic surgeon, and the wife wanted him to do it for her, and Kate actually stayed at their place to recover......how many women can ever say that????

I hope she and Jon can get their act together for the kid's sake.  She does seem like a total control freak though.

I know this was an old thread but did anyone hear?  They're divorcing!  Show's on hiatus until August and they're going to switch out living in that big 2.3 million dollar house in PA.  They said it was their kid's house and they bought it for them and they will not make them leave it.  Least they have their kids best interests at heart when it comes to that! 

Darn, I liked watching someone else juggle their lives on reality tv.. makes me feel less crazy!

You would be correct. 

I think this and other reality shows are a detriment to society.  With so many other things much more important, all we can do is sit around and worry about whether two people, who created the mess they are in, are going to get a divorce.

The victims here are the children but it happens every day in every part of the country.  These poor kids just happen to be unfortunate enough for it to be plastered all over the world.

I have to comment about the house situation and not necessarily Jon and Kate related... 

That is starting to be fairly common in some states to leave the house with the children and the Mom and Dad both have separate living arrangements and go in and out of the children's home.  It makes good sense for the children but it could surely put a financial strain on everyone with three mortgages or a mortgage and rent for each.  It could also influence some couples to stay together despite their unhappiness just out of financial strain which would put the children in an unhappy home.  So not sure which is better or worse.  As said before, sad any way you look at it.

I just don't get why some people only post with negative or useless info.  If you don't like something or don't have any interest in something... why bother? 

Seriously.  This thread was already started, it is in GENERAL DISCUSSIONS, and the title clearly explained what was enclosed inside.

Maybe looking at the way some people here act towards newer members might point out why some people stay silent and only "lurk."

 Being someone that is currently going through a divorce with children... Things are always said and promised in the beginning, but once people move out, things change incredibly!  They are being all nice about it now, but I can guarantee once those lawyers get in on it, there will be words and fur a'flyin!  I wouldn't be surprised if Jon moved out and never went back.  I think he's in it for the money and not the children.  Now that isn't to say that Kate is not at fault.  The way she treated Jon was reprehensible. 

I think things started going down hill in a quick way when the celebrity part of it started up.  Both of them started getting "things" and surgery.  All of a sudden they were both more desirable to the opposite sex.  Then they reversed their roles..she went out and made the living and he stayed home with the children.  I think women belong in the home with their children when they are this young if finances allows it (and since they make $75,000 per episode with 40 episodes a year, I think we can all agree finances will allow it).  I think Jon felt lost at home.  Men need to feel like the provider for their families (in most cases).  It's a shame what fame does to people.....
