Post your favorite pose- Pose Book

O.K. Lets get this started.  For all of you new to the forum we are trying to get together a pose book.  There are so many times when you see something on the forum that you would like to try, then when the acutal time comes you forget.  We are hoping to make a book that you can keep with you, and pull it out when in need of that mpix motivation.  I am posting several different categories.  If I forget one feel free to add one in.  These shots can be in studio and out.

When posting your pictures be sure to credit yourself & to post the category the pic belongs in.

    Categories:

    1.  Babies

    2. Children

    3. Tweens

    4.  Teens

    5.  Seniors

    6.  Adults/Headshots

    7.  Pets

    8. Engagement

    9. Wedding

    10.  Maternity

Do we just post the finished shot, or the lighting set up also?

Ooo...I'm so excited.  It's gonna take a lil bit of time for me to collect my favorites.

Oh, and can we give Marti her own book?  Or at least her own section in this book?  Maybe "Marti" should be one of the categories!!  Wink

If you want to just post the pose that is fine however, the lighting set up would be  nice.

My favorite pose for children is this one.  I think its because they all look so innocent when resting their busy little bodies.  I used one light for this pic. (AB800 with softbox)

I always try to get a wedding party to do this one.  It depends on the girls shoes and what not.

I have backed up most of my images to cd lately so I don't have a lot left on my computer, but I'll go through them and see what I can find...  I do have one that jumps out in my mind as one of my all time favorites and since I know it is still on my computer I will post it now and look for more later...

I loved this photo of dad talking to his son that I got a few months ago...  I have never been able to catch such an intimate photo of father and child since...  The lighting is not the greatest but you get the idea...  :)

For little ones, I always like to face them away from me and then call their name -- I just love the look-over-their-shoulder thing for this age.

I love it when the pose is very specific to the person -- this little girl is a gymnast.
