Mpix has gone on summer vacation!

The Mpix Guys were awesome enough to send me a statuette of the mpix logo!  

Mpix.com is going on Summer Vacation!!!!!!

I have taken my picture of the statuette and will start a thread with the pictures in photo sharing.  I am sure we can get it stickied! 

Wanna see where Mpix is going on summer vacation?  Check the thread every couple of days to find out!

I am going to send the statuette to Jenn (gabismom97) tomorrow!  When she is done, she will post her image(s) and then send it on to the next person! 

You can set up the shot however you want.  (I am going post the image and then an edited version of that image.) 

You chose what ever you want.  I would say limit the images to no more than 3.

Use people, props, places... make it unique - preferrably to your area and what activities you are doing during the summer.

Have fun with it! 

And don't forget to send it on!!!!

The wonderful, majestic, mysterious, mystical, marvelous, Mpix Matt has agreed to send out more "Sams!"

Please see the revised list.  If your name is at the TOP of one of the lists, please PM me your address.  You will have your very own "Sam" soon. 

I encourage you to find a nice box for your Sam and add a journal of some kind.

***Do not keep Sam for more than 48 hours.  ***  This has to be kinda of a "shoot and burn" turn around.
It's really not fair to the rest of the mpixers on the list.
Shipping Sam in his box with the journal (and what ever else happens to get in there) will cost $7-$10 depending on where he's going.


That's a lot of mpixers!  This should be fun!!!!!!!!

Please let me know!  If you want to join in - just make sure you are committed to participating - read the rules - and realize it's probably going to be a LONG time before you get it.   It might not be summer anymore... but I can't wait to see Sam's journey.

Sam comes apart so he can be shipped flat.

Sam arrived here yesterday (I think that is what everyone decided on the name...lol) I tried to think of what to do with Sam in Rincon Ga but the creative juices just weren't flowing and then it hit me. Of course Sam should be introduced to Gabs my little muse. They had a good day. So these were shot in my backyard today. Where most of my pics are taken...lol. Enjoyed hanging out with Gabs while we did it because she had a case of the giggles posing with Sam. The one question I couldn't answer was, "Mommy...is Sam a boy or a girl?" .... Maybe someone else could enlighten us. What do you think Sam is?

So anyways I will be sending Sam to Michigan tomorrow to visit with Adam_111! Get ready Adam, Sam is a handful!

 And I am sitting here wondering "Why didn't I play?"  Sigh. Could I be put on the end of the list?
