Ok..it looks like we won't get anyone to donate t-shirts to us.....

But....we do have a really cool banner being donated to us! Yay!!!....

As for the t-shirts...we can get long sleeve t-shirts for about $15 each...(including tax and s&h for everyone)...but we have to have a minimum order of 50...

Also we were thinking of asking everyone for a small donation to cover "snacks" and "drinks"...

So........my question is this:

Would you be willing to pay the $15 for each t-shirt (keep in mind we need to order at least 50) and donate for drinks and snacks?

We would take a poll as to what snacks you would want...I'm thinking trail mix, fruit, granola bars...and chocolate! lol.....

And the same for drinks...water, juice, soda.....

What are your thoughts on this????

Personally, I don't care anything about the T-shirts - I guess I have gotten too many of them from different things over the last few years - so I probably wouldn't want one.  With that said, I will go with the majority and if the decision is made to get the shirts, I will participate.

I could maybe try some local printers;  I actually know someone with a printing business.  (Not sure on the quality of the shirts, though - I've never seen any they have done!)  But around here, they would probably be happy with a small order.  LOL. . . . We'll see how many we think we'll need and then I'll follow up. As far as the snacks, the hotel is right beside a gas station (if I remember correctly), so it wouldn't be difficult for people to get thier own.  (And less trouble for whoever is assigned to doing that!)  I'm just thinking how different people's tastes are, and we probably couldn't please everyone.  However, I can always run to Sam's Club and get a couple boxes of chocolate goodies for those of us who can't live without! LOL. . . . . I'll try to check back here tonight, but today is a LONG day!

As far as snacks.  Why not just have everyone bring something to throw into the snack box?  Half bring snacks and half bring drinks?

 $15 isn't outrageous for a long sleeve t-shirt. A t-shirt would be cool.

As far as snacks, we'd be fine donating or bringing our own. What will we do for meals? Are we on our own for that? I mean, that's fine.. just wondering :) 

We are ok either way with snacks....we thought it might be nice to have a veggie tray and maybe a fruit bowl and some other things for people to nosh on when you get hungry...

As far as the meals.....hopefully we will have somewhere for everyone to eat at Friday night together...and Saturday night and possibly Sunday morning for those of us still around....

I think we can do lunches on our own but the dinners together so we can hang out and get to know each other better!

Anyone else have any other ideas?

Well....Gro leaves on Friday....and I think I will be going through major Gro withdrawls since we talk about 5 times a day......so, if someone wants to help with the tshirts then that would be great!

What exactly are you looking to get done with the tee-shirts? Do you need someone to print them up...are these the ones with the logo Bren's husband did? Or are they other tee's?

One of my best friends owns an embroidery shop and she can get the printed ones really cheap.  I just emailed her to see how much she can get them for.

The problem we were finding was we needed to have a minimum to order...if only the people who wnated them could get them then that would be great!

I can get t-shirts without a minimum order of 50.. A dozen is the minimum for a decent price.You could get one t-shirt, but you would pay $25.00 for it. I'm guesstimating, but short sleeve 3 color would be approximately $10.00 and long sleeved approximately $12-15.00. How many colors is the logo? We wouldn't have to ship them. I could just bring them with me, unless someone orders that doesn't go to the meet-up.

No there is two colors, black and red.
