I checked with the hotel and we have booked 15 rooms so far. If you are one of the people that have booked a room, please send me a pm so we know who and how many are coming. If you are planning on coming, but want to stay somewhere else, please let me know. Also let me know what day you are coming and about what time of day you are arriving. This makes it easier to plan activities. I have not been on Mpix for a while, just have a lot on my plate these days. Hopefully I will be back in the States in the end of August, if things here goes the way I think it will. If you have any questions about the meet up feel free to send me or Dooudlebug a pm or email. We have the conference room all day Saturday and Sunday morning.

We have also figured out that there will be a $30.00  fee for the meet up, pr adult (cost covering meet and greet (food only) and other expenses.

There will be some sort of competition, can't tell you what, but it will be a fun one... The winner will win a very nice prize.....

For the people bringing their families, I am still working on finding some kid friendly activities (not easy, I tell you)

Anybody interested in a bowling championship: I received an email from the owner at leisure lane in Beckley

Open Bowling prices are 3.25 per game per person
Shoe Rentals are $2.00 per person

If you are interested in our Futuristic Bowling...No lights, music, etc.  We do this on Friday and Saturday nights from 10 until 12:15 a.m.  Cost is $10.00 per person includes your shoes and as many games as you can bowl.

If you wish to do the Futuristic Bowling on Friday or Saturday nights we ask that you call in advance, let us know how many people will be in your group, and we hold reservations with a credit card.  Everyone can pay individually when you get here, this is just like a hotel....it guarantees you a lane.

We do have a beer on tap...Bud and Bud Light.  Sorry no liquor.  We have wine coolers too.

I don't know all the detail but I do know that...I think....most of us are staying at Country Hearth....and I know I'm doing a class on Boudoir/Pinup....but mostly....WELCOME to the forum!!!

You are more than welcome to join us. We have a schedule for the meet up, it is somewhere in another post. If you pm Douddlebug, she can give you the list with activities that will take place. A of cost, we have not deternined it yet, it depends on how many are coming and if we have to pay for the conf. room etc. I will be back in the states in the end of the month and I will get back to organizing it a little more and get all the info out to everybody. If you pm me your info, with how many are coming and if you are staying at the hotel etc. it would be great.

I have it marked on my calendar.  I'd LOVE to come, but I'll have to play it by ear.  I just bought a car and I'm trying to watch my money.  As long as I'm not completely broke (and gas isn't $5 a gallon) I'll be there!

 

I have been using Mpix for prints for a while, but just discovered this forum, duh. I would love to come. Is it too late to join in? I am in SE KY, so not too far for me.
