I only wish I had the courage that my son has. I would have never been bold enough to do anything like this when I was his age..lol. He loves to play and write music. He knows that his voice needs work. Going to get him voice lessons sometime soon. He plays lead guitar in his band called "Maintaining Inertia" It is a Christian Indy band. He is not the lead singer but writes most of their music. Just a

for my kiddo for once again making me a proud Mommy.

Aww thanks for looking. I get all teared up everytime I see him play his guitar. I can see and feel his passion for it. I love that kiddo.

That was awesome Jenn! You have every right to be a proud Mama!

He has great talent. How old is he? That song made me tear up and remember my days of listening to Christian rock as a teenager. And the lyrics would have fit me as a teenager too!

WOW!!! Congrats Joey!!! Congrats Jenn! Can you say ... lump in my throat! I can't...cause I have a lump in my throat. Oh man, to have that kind of passion and to be that bold at his tender age. Loved the lyrics and I saw "Shipwrecked" at the top and thought it was a perfect title. I just know you are about to bust with pride, I sure would be. Thank you so much for sharing that.

That was amazing for sure show him this thread I don't have a myspace acount or I'd for sure comment there that was great definately nowhere to go but forward with tallent like that chase your dreams and NEVER let anyone talk you out of it

I wish that I had sound on this computer :(

My kid also plays in a band. Kinda like a Christian hard rock. I will give him this site to look at. Maybe they could talk on line :) They are the same age too !
