    You are getting it!  It looks great.  Are his teeth too white?  It would have looked better without a smile.

    I like the blend, but I'm not crazy about the crop or the expression.

    It also looks like his teeth are blown out.  Do you have one where he's not smiling that you can try the effect out on?

     I'd like this a lot more if he was less blown out and retained more contrast and sharpness.  When you blend, some times it helps to overdo the contrast and sharpness on the main subject so that if it is only present at ~70%, it still is the main visual force in the image.

    Hi! I see noise in the original photo. Did you do that as part of the effect? I think I'd like to see less noise in the face and then a lighter grunge on the edges. Not sure if that makes sense or even it will look better but just throwing it out as an idea. I think it's coming along nicely and I'm just trying to polish it up. Smile
