When Mpix 2.0 came out, I decided to order my first framed prints ever of three of my pictures. After getting here in just 4 days, I carefully unpacked them. Each one was shipped in its own box which was impressive to me. After distributing one to my sister, one to a friend, and taking the other one back to my dorm, I went to the University's bookstore to buy a 3M wall adhesive because we obviously can't nail things into our dorm walls.
I found a great place in the kitchen to adhere the tab which had a small hook on which to mount the picture frame. It was on a cinder block wall (painted and smoothed of course) since basically the whole hall is cinder block. I found a smoother part of it about 6.5 feet high without many bumps to mount the tab to and cleaned it with isopropyl rubbing alcohol then dried it thoroughly.
After carefully aligning the adhesive and admiring the newly hung, glass-covered photo in the kitchen (for about 5 minutes), I went back to my room real quick to check my email when I heard a crashing sound.
I cringed and went back into my kitchen. The picture frame had crashed the ground! It was lying face down and I didn't want to think about glass damages! I looked it over and fortunately the glass did not break. Not even a scratch! (This is a hard tile floor, mind you.)
My observations included noticing a chip or two from each corner, but nothing too noticable. In fact, it adds a little bit of character. The frame and picture are in great shape. And now, it's just safely leaning between my wall and shelf in my bedroom, at least until I figure something else out.
Good job Mpix. I'm satisfied.

PS. My roommate is now popping all the bubbles in the packing. Thanks for that too Mpix. At least he left some for me.
