First of all, can you please resize your image so the largest dimension is no greater than 660 pixels?  Makes it really hard to critique when I have to go scrolling around Smile

I'm afraid this image doesn't do much for me.  It's a train track....but it doesn't lead to anywhere interesting.  There's very little going on in the sky and the trees on the sides seem to just blend together without any interesting texture or anything.

One thing that stands out is that the b&w is rather bland.  Not hardly any contrast at all.  Perhaps if it were in color it would be more interesting what with the green of the trees and the blue sky.  As it is, like I said, it doesn't do much for me.

Now keep in mind that I'm just one person....AND I've been cleaning out kitchen drawers all day because we've had a mouse (dead mouse now!) and I really REALLY hate mice with a passion. Smile

To me, it looks like a black and white print from a color negative.  There is no contrast, it is a very muddy image.  Too bad there wasn't a train at the time to add a little interest.

I just jazzed it up a little. The white sky is a little much. Was this a scanned photo? I see little clips on the edges.

    Anyway here is a play.
