  • Need help syncing Canon 30D/Canon Speedlite 430EX w/ Alien Bees 400

I'm new to photography ... began in August of this year. After an inheritance, we invested in some photography equipment because it was something I had always wanted to do. I am definitely oversimplifying aperature and only assuming that a wide aperature is going to give me crisp shots because I don't have to leave the shutter open as long...

  • 50mm vs 35mm

I'm going to start a new thread on this one. I am putting together a 30D package for myself and I've been trying to get a good idea of what lenses to start with. I'd prefer to stay at two lenses, although I am starting to think it may take three to really have a good zoom and a good wide...
