I have created a book with Mpixpress and when i go to upload it gives me a page with a list of files that have a low res. I say continue because it just font. When I proof it the files that are low Res aren't there? do I really have to back through and fix the font that isn't 'high"...

In the new custom hardcover book you can put a page layout on the cover that the page layout has a frame with a text option on it. I just tried it and it seemed to work although I have not gotten around to ordering it yet.

Mpix Press users can rejoice, as the Leopard OS is now compatible with Adobe Acrobat. Adobe says that the Acrobat 8.1.2 Professional update, released yesterday, has "improved Mac OS X v1.5 (Leopard) support." The update also includes "resolution of several PDF forms-related issues"...

I experienced the timeout today with the new edition of My Photo Books and my 28-page book, and had to use the "alternate" upload process. My 20-page book worked fine the normal way (and I uploaded it also today). -Tom in Maryland

Just a couple of thoughts. I spent what seemed like an eternity working through pictures, getting them arranged in the book, working with the frames and the backgrounds, putting in text, and finally came out with something I thought looked pretty good. Learning curves on almost any software takes awhile...

I placed an order for 24 folded cards. used The Gimp to create the front and back images at 300dpi, put in a 1/4" bleed edge like recommended. the front had a blue background bled to the edge, the back was plain white with some text on the bottom the bleed at the crease is a bit un-even on some...

Using the software, it appears you can put anything on the front, anything on the inside, and anything on the back. But the old saying is probably true -- just because you can doesn't mean you should . Is it safe to actually put photographic content in the inside of these? Also, if I create a 5x7...

On my home computer, using "My Photo Books" from Mpix Press, "Powerered by Digi Labs", on WinXP+SP2. (Sorry, I didn't know there was online software that could be confused with this one.)
