  • Mpix Packaging

So I'm looking for something very similar to what mpix uses for the packaging - the envelopes, and the boxes. I know where I can get the boxes from (I'm doing two color schemes - grey envelopes and aqua ribbons, and aqua boxes and grey ribbons), but I'm totally stumped where I can get the...

  • Client favorites in prints and in gallery wraps? Looking to price

I'm just getting started and working on developing some pricing and packaging/bundling strategies. For those of you who have had a few sales under your belt what sizes of prints are the most common. 5x7's and 8x10's? Are more 8x10's generally ordered or less-cause the 5x7 is cheaper?...

  • Re: Charging tax

Like other have said, every state is different. Here in California, you are supposed to tax everything, even your physical service . Some photographers have tried the "I'm only providing a service, for my $2,000.00 + package" , however that won't work in my state. So, we have to tax...

  • Re: Need advice!

It is difficult to tell someone if they are charging too much or not enough. My advice to you is to check out the prices of some other photographers in your area. That should give you a rough idea. Wal-mart & Sears Portrait studios don't count though. Customers need to realize that if they want...

  • My new pakaging

I just wanted to share my new pakaging and to let you know of a good place to order this kind of stuff from. I found this company on another forum and I am glad I did! The boxes are deep enough for my wallet boxes to fit in, and I love the patterns they have to choose from. http://www.nashvillewraps...
