Hi everyone, Would MPix color prints be considered "Chromogenic?" If not, any suggestions on what terminology to use for exhibition purposes? Thanks.

  • Re: website review (again...pweeze!)

I started with frontpage for my website and that was the pits. I then bought a nice template from http://allwebco-templates.com/ these guys and I think mine cost $97. It was very simple and I used notepad to learn basic html... (still not very good) but I took what they gave me as a starting point and...

  • HELP..( photo display )

I have been asked to put on my first photo exhibit at a local library. I will have about 30 ,11x14 prints all mounted in 16 x 20 mattes, no frames. Problem is ... how to display them ? I was searching for inexpensive easels but the mattes will be rather large (16x 20) and will need to be supported properly...

  • Re: Webpage questions

I use jalbum which is also free. • Re: Do any of you offer a CD of all images??

I'm new at this and I've scoured the Boston area for what other photographers advertise on their websites. Almost all include a CD of the shots in their prices. I've only shot 3 weddings this last year so I'm only charging $500/650 for 5 or 8 hours. (Yes, I know bargin basement) but until...

  • Re: GoDaddy help... please!

JessE.: Obscura, I love your drill picture. That should be used in an add, (if itsn't already). The drill shot is for an ad. I'm fixin' to sell it on ebay. :-) JessE.: My only complaint is that the whole site is so dark. Is there anyway you could lighten it up some? Before you run the cursor...

plum: do I have to purchase something else to get the webpage up and going?? I'm a big fan of open source so I would recommend checking out what is freely available before spending money. :-) This thread inspired me to actually start on my photography web site tonight. I installed a copy of Phormer...

I just installed Phormer tonight over at my website Obscura Photography . It's free and it supports password protected galleries so it may do what you're looking for.
